Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking an AI Solutions Automation Engineer to lead the design and development of AI-powered automation and testing solutions for the software delivered to our steelmaking divisions. This role is primarily focused on building intelligent test automation frameworks, AI-driven quality assurance pipelines, and automated MDM solutions - leveraging machine learning and generative AI to eliminate manual effort across the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is deeply hands-on with test automation and AI/ML tooling, capable of building scalable frameworks for test data generation, autonomous test execution, and continuous quality validation. They will partner closely with developers, data teams, architects, and business stakeholders to embed automation at every stage of delivery — from development through production support.

This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Nucor Business Technology Team. Teammate location may be based in Irving, TX, Charlotte, NC or any Nucor steelmaking division with the agreement of that division. Travel is required up to 50%.
