Job Summary
Our client, a global leader in advanced autonomous and robotic solutions across multiple industries, is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join their Advanced Prototyping team In Utah. The AI Solutions Engineer III is a senior, hands-on software engineer responsible for designing and delivering AI-powered applications, automation solutions, and knowledge systems from discovery through production. This role requires a highly skilled coder with 8+ years of software development experience, strong expertise in C# and React, and the ability to work across the modern AI and full-stack development ecosystem, including Node.js, Python, JavaScript, and related technologies. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about AI and combines strong software engineering skills with the ability to rapidly prototype, architect, and productionize intelligent solutions while mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered applications, automation workflows, and knowledge systems from discovery through production.
- Architect end-to-end solutions across the full stack, including front-end applications, backend services, APIs, AI/LLM integrations, and data pipelines.
- Build and integrate solutions using C#, React, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, and other appropriate technologies.
- Design knowledge-capture, transcription, data-structuring, and retrieval pipelines using speech-to-text, LLMs, vector databases, and related AI technologies.
- Develop AI-enabled automation solutions that improve engineering and operational workflows.
- Define technical requirements, pilot scope, success metrics, and implementation approaches for AI and automation initiatives.
- Rapidly prototype, test, troubleshoot, and productionize scalable AI solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, models, tools, and frameworks into production applications.
- Develop engineering-ready requirements, technical documentation, and knowledge resources from complex or unstructured information.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on software architecture, AI solution design, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with a strong track record of designing and delivering production-quality applications.
- Strong hands-on coding expertise in C# and experience building modern web applications with React.
- Proficiency across full-stack technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, APIs, and related development frameworks.
- Strong passion for AI and experience developing or integrating AI-powered applications, automation workflows, LLMs, or intelligent knowledge systems.
- Experience taking complex technical solutions from discovery and prototype through production deployment and adoption.
- Experience integrating AI technologies such as LLMs, speech-to-text, vector databases, retrieval systems, or similar tools into software applications.
- Strong software architecture, debugging, problem-solving, and technical design skills.
- Ability to translate business and operational needs into scalable technical solutions and engineering requirements.
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience designing and building RAG, knowledge-management, or enterprise search solutions.
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and AI data-processing workflows.
- Experience with AI voice systems, speech-to-text, transcription, or conversational AI technologies.
- Familiarity with knowledge-management platforms such as Obsidian or similar tools.
- Experience evaluating and integrating emerging AI frameworks, models, and developer tools.
- Experience working with agentic AI, AI automation, or autonomous workflow systems.
