This role will work directly alongside the AI & Digital Innovation Lead to develop practical AI solutions that with our custom ERP and manufacturing workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate directly with the AI & Digital Innovation lead on AI and software initiativesDevelop and maintain AI-powered internal applications and servicesBuild APIs, backend services, and integrations that support AI workflowsRetrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)AI agents and workflow automationERP data integrationsAI‑assisted reporting and operations dashboardsOCR and invoice/receiver matching systemsInternal AI assistants and knowledge systemsHelp organize, structure, and optimize operation data for AI usageAssist with improving and automating business processes using AI TechnologiesEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceSome professional, academic, or project‑based experience building AI/ML or intelligent software systemsStrong programming experience with Python and backend development conceptsFamiliarity with modern AI concepts such as:LLMsRAG systemsAI Workflow automationStrong problem solving skills and willingness to learn new technologiesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast‑moving development environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with AI framework or tools such as:LangChainOpenAI APIsFastAPIPytorch or TensorFlowFamiliarity with Linux, Docker, or GPU‑based systemsExperience with SQL databases and API developmentExposure to ERP systems, manufacturing systems, automation, or operational software is a plusSupervisor ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment. When in the manufacturing facility, all employees are required to wear personal protective equipment including hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
