At Improving, we're actively building long-term relationships with AI professionals in the Houston area as we continue to expand our AI Practice. While we may not have immediate openings for all roles today, we anticipate increased demand throughout the year and want to begin conversations with people who are excited about applying AI in real-world, enterprise environments.

Improving's AI Practice delivers practical, scalable AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. We focus on applying AI thoughtfully by balancing innovation with reliability, security, and maintainability. Our teams work closely with clients to integrate AI into existing systems, modernize platforms, and enable teams to adopt AI responsibly.

We're interested in connecting with professionals across the following AI-focused roles and levels:

• AI Architects & ML Architects

• General AI Engineers (GenAI, RAG, agents, integration-focused)

• Machine Learning Engineers

What We Look For

While backgrounds vary by role, successful candidates typically bring:

• Senior and Principal-level professionals with 6+ years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on delivery of AI solutions in real-world environments

• Strong software engineering or ML foundations

• Experience applying AI in production environments (or a strong desire to grow into it)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern development practices

• Curiosity, pragmatism, and a collaborative mindset

• Comfort working in consulting-style, project-based environments
