Your Impact:
You’ll play a hands‑on role in embedding AI, automation, and technology‑driven improvements across Benchmark. You’ll work directly with teams to understand workflows, identify inefficiencies, and deliver practical solutions that improve productivity and consistency.
- Embed with Teams: Spend time with the field, operations, preconstruction, accounting, and support teams to understand how work is done and where friction exists.
- Build Solutions: Design and deploy AI‑powered tools, workflow automations, and process improvements that reduce manual work and errors.
- Translate Needs into Technology: Define requirements and help bridge the gap between operational needs and technical execution, partnering with IT and vendors when needed.
- Drive Adoption: Train and support users to ensure tools are adopted, trusted, and delivering value, not just launched.
- Measure Impact: Track results such as time savings, error reduction, adoption rates, and ROI to ensure solutions are making a difference.
- Advance Strategy: Support Benchmark’s innovation roadmap by evaluating emerging technologies and helping position the company as a leader in construction technology and AI adoption.
What You Bring (Experiences & Qualifications):
Above all, you are hungry, humble, and people-smart.
- Relevant Experience: 3–5 years of experience in construction technology, automation, AI, or process improvement.
- Builder Mindset: Proven ability to design, build, and deploy real‑world solutions that solve practical business problems, not just conceptual ideas.
- Technical Fluency: Experience with low‑code/no‑code tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, Make) and/or scripting or development tools such as Python, JavaScript, or APIs.
- AI Application: Strong understanding of how AI and automation can be applied effectively within day‑to‑day business workflows.
- Communication & Translation: Ability to work directly with non‑technical teams, clearly translating operational challenges into technology‑driven solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Construction Systems: Experience with platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Trimble, or similar tools.
- Workflow Insight: Familiarity with document‑heavy construction processes, including RFIs, submittals, and invoicing.
- Data Exposure: Experience or curiosity around data systems, analytics, or system architecture.
