The AI-U Specialist (Google AI University Program) - Part-Time will support the Arizona SBDC State Office and Service Centers at Maricopa Community Colleges in implementing America's SBDC Google AI-U program. This position provides hands-on experience supporting small businesses across Arizona through the application of artificial intelligence, business operations, and client services.

Essential Functions
40% - Implement and support various AI-driven initiatives as vetted and approved by the AI Special Interest Group (SIG):
Act as a liaison between the AI SIG to ensure project objectives align with broader organizational goals
Researching, testing, evaluating, and summarizing their findings on the application of artificial intelligence in market research
Assists in the technical deployment of automated workflows, generative AI tools, or data analysis models to enhance operational efficiency
Troubleshoot and refine digital solutions to ensure they meet the specific needs of the assigned project or small business stakeholder
40% - Communication:
Maintain proactive communication regarding project milestones, potential bottlenecks, and resource needs
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes to evaluate the success of individual AI implementations
Maintain detailed project logs and documentation to ensure all work is reproducible and meets organizational compliance standards
Ensure data integrity and adherence to privacy best practices throughout the lifecycle of every approved project
Facilitate knowledge transfer by developing user-friendly guides, documentation, or brief training sessions for newly implemented tools
20% - Perform feasibility assessments on proposed projects:
Provide feedback on technical requirements and projected timelines
Synthesize complex technical information into actionable insights for non-technical audiences
