• This hands-on role designs, builds, and deploys secure AI agents using the Microsoft Copilot solution stack, connecting enterprise data and applications to deliver measurable business value.

• Collaborate with business teams, IT, security, and compliance while reporting to the Director of Artificial Intelligence.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE AI AGENT DEVELOPER

• 
  
• Partner with business units to identify high-value, repetitive, and multi-step workflows suitable for agentic automation.
• 
  
• Design, build, test, and deploy custom AI agents using Copilot Studio or equivalent platforms to extend standard Copilot capabilities.
• 
  
• Integrate agents with enterprise data sources and applications while meeting security, privacy, governance, and quality standards.
• 
  
• Translate business processes into practical agent solutions and measure their impact through adoption, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
• 
  
• Monitor usage and employee feedback to refine agents, identify underused capabilities, and prioritize opportunities for expansion.
• 
  
• Create training materials, demonstrations, playbooks, documentation, and office hours that help non-technical employees adopt agentic features beyond chat-based prompting.
• 
  
• Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on evolving Copilot capabilities and collaborate with vendor or internal platform teams to inform the roadmap.
• 
  
• Build communities of practice, address concerns about AI adoption, and promote responsible experimentation through safe-to-fail environments and rapid prototyping.
• 
  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE AI AGENT DEVELOPER

Required qualifications and technical background

• 
  
• At least one year delivering AI/ML-enabled products, workflows, internal tools, or agentic systems.
• 
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and enterprise integration patterns.
• 
  
• Background in low-code/no-code automation platforms such as Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar tools.
• 
  
• Experience with prompt engineering, AI workflow design, API integrations, and connecting AI agents to enterprise systems.
• 
  
• Knowledge of autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, reasoning capabilities, and workflow automation.
• 
  
• Prior experience in digital adoption, IT training, or AI transformation.
• 
  
• Awareness of AI ethics, fairness, privacy, security, data protection, and adversarial risks in model development and deployment.
