Key Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Conduct daily facility inspections
- Coordinate and manage cleaning schedules
- Maintain inspection records, logs, and documentation
- Prepare the facility for AIB and customer audits
- Investigate and resolve food safety concerns
- Train employees on food safety procedures and best practices
Safety Responsibilities
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Ensure employees use the proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food-grade warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
- Knowledge of AIB standards, food safety, sanitation, and OSHA regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and employee training skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds (occasionally more)
- Ability to climb stairs and safely operate warehouse equipment
