Child Care Aide

3:30 PM - 4:45 PM, Monday - Friday

Starting pay is $13.50 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

a. Be at least 16 years of age.

b. Pass the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families Background Check.

c. No later than 6 months after starting the position, a program aide must complete at least one of the following (the district will assist with setting up the candidate to meet this requirement):

• An assistant child care teacher training program approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

• A non-credit department-approved course in early childhood education (such as the Introduction to the Child Care Profession course).

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Work under the supervision of a Lead Child Care Teacher.

• Create safe environments for children.

• Able to communicate effectively.

• Bring a positive attitude and be able to have a good time.
