PK Teacher's Aide Reports To: Early Childhood Learning Center PrincipalStatus: Part-Time, Non-ExemptJob Summary: Act in a support role to the classroom teacherJob ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacherAssist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies Supervise children when the Head Teacher is in or out of the classroomHelp with the general housekeeping tasksKeep record of the periodic cleaning of cots, materials and furnishingsAssist the teacher in any other appropriate ways Maintain a professional attitude and representation of the school at all timesFaithfully implement the systems, policies and procedures as outlined by the Head of School and/or Preschool AdministratorAttend workshops, seminars, and conferences as directedMust obtain Ohio Educational Aide Permit prior to start date, if does not have a teaching licenseQualifications:Minimum High School diploma Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, preferredExperience working with preschool or elementary aged childrenStrong Christian backgroundComfortable working in a multi-denomination Christian communityCHCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
