THE POSITION
Are you ready to launch a rewarding career where you can grow professionally while helping veterans and their spouses each day? As an Aide Trainee with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) at the Gino Merli Veterans Center, you will receive training that builds your confidence and prepares you for certification as a Nurse Aide. This position allows you to support residents as they work toward their highest level of well-being. Your dedication will help strengthen the care and comfort offered throughout the facility.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides training and hands-on experience that prepares you to deliver basic care and support to residents in a long-term care setting. As an Aide Trainee, you will perform the following duties:

Preferred Qualification - This position is in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. Are you willing and able to work in Lackawanna County, PA?

Preferred Qualification - This is a full-time permanent position for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) or the 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am), after certification is obtained on a 8:00 am - 4:30 pm shift in a classroom orientation.
Are you willing to work this 2nd or 3rd shift, rotating days and weekends, every other holiday? (Check all that you are willing to work.)

Preferred Qualification - This is a training position, this position will require Complete 8-hour online training course prior to hire.
