The AIDPMO inventory position is a logistics and supply chain management role focused on ensuring the Army's intermodal container fleet is accurately tracked, efficiently managed, and ready for deployment worldwide. It blends inventory control, procurement, maintenance, and compliance with DoD standards.
Work Location- Army Transportation headquarters, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate inventory data for ISO containers, pallets, and distribution platforms.
- Track stock movements, update automated container life-cycle systems, and reconcile physical counts with records
- Process container procurement requests via the Joint Container Management (JCM) system.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to assess performance, identify trends, and support decision-making .
- Work with government employees, other contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Comply with federal, state, local laws, ARTRANS directives, and DoD regulations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years of related experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Degree
- Must have a current SECRET clearance.
- Experience in inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and automated systems.
- Understanding of container handling, storage, and transportation.
- Ability to perform cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition and logistics processes is preferred.

Pay Range $45,500.00 - $82,250.00
