Aimbridge Corporate - Senior Staff Accountant-Corporate Address 5301 Headquarters Drive, Plano, TX, 75024, USThis role sits at the center of Aimbridge's corporate accounting function, helping drive accurate reporting, smooth month-end close, and strong financial visibility across the business. The Senior Staff Accountant supports key general ledger activities, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and process improvements that keep operations running efficiently. It's a hands‑on role with meaningful exposure, cross‑functional collaboration, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast‑paced environment.Key Skills & ResponsibilitiesLead monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll accounting tasks.Review departmental P&Ls,identifyaccruals and reclasses, and prepare variance analysis to support financial insight.Support monthly and quarterly consolidated GAAP financial statements and related schedules for leadership and the Board.Own Accuracy & ComplianceApply GAAP technical accounting knowledge across lease, joint venture, and capital accounting activities.Support internal controls, respond to auditor inquiries, and follow accounting policies, procedures, and retention standards.Partner Across the BusinessBuild strong working relationships across corporate leadership and partner teams including A/P, A/R, Treasury, and Hotel Accounting.Take on special projects and other assigned work that supports the broader corporate accounting function.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA eligible or current CPA preferred.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and experience supporting the month-end close process.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems with minimal supervision.Detail‑oriented team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.BenefitsNow offering Daily Pay !
