MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career, and client-oriented AI/ML Strategist to join our team in Arlington, VA
This is a Hybrid position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement and manage governance frameworks for AI/ML models, including model ownership, approvals, API access, and Tier-4 governance support.
- Ensure responsible AI practices throughout the organization.
- Develop and enforce policies for model development, validation, and deployment.
- Establish review and approval processes for AI/ML models.
- Develop standards for model performance monitoring and evaluation.
- Establish procedures for model updates and versioning.
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles and regulatory requirements.
- Develop frameworks for identifying and mitigating AI bias.
- Lead model governance committee activities.
- Create metrics and reports on model governance compliance.
- Evaluate and implement tools for model governance and compliance.
- Train teams on model governance procedures.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on AI/ML risk management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in data governance, AI/ML compliance, or systems planning.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Communication: The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable Certifications: Possess one or more of the following credentials: CCSP, CFR, FITSP-M, GSEC, Security+, SSCP.
- Work Role Alignments: Experience or familiarity operating within the following federal/DoD cyber workforce framework roles:
- 903 - Data Officer
- 641 - Systems Requirements Planner
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must possess an active Secret with eligibility for Top Secret / TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
