Position – Aircraft Painter

Location: Kingman, AZ

We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to support aircraft painting and finishing operations in Kingman, AZ.

This position is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing aircraft surfaces while maintaining high standards for appearance, durability, safety, and workmanship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using spray guns and other applicable equipment
• Mix and prepare paint materials in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures
• Inspect completed surfaces for defects, streaks, bubbles, inconsistencies, or other finish concerns
• Correct paint and surface defects as required
• Operate spray equipment, air compressors, spray booths, and related painting tools
• Read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Maintain painting equipment and tools in proper working condition
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed
• Work collaboratively with technicians and other team members to meet production requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety and quality standards

Summary of Education, Experience and Certification

High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Aircraft painting or related automotive or industrial painting experience required
• Experience with aircraft coatings and paint systems preferred
• Aircraft painting or related certification preferred
• Previous experience in an aircraft maintenance or repair environment preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of aircraft surface preparation and paint application practices
• Ability to prepare, prime, paint, and finish aircraft surfaces
• Experience using spray guns, paint equipment, and related tools
• Ability to identify and correct paint and surface defects
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Knowledge of proper handling and use of paints, coatings, and related materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The employee will work in aircraft hangar and paint environments and may be exposed to paint fumes, chemicals, noise, and other materials commonly associated with aircraft finishing.

The employee must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift. The position may also require lifting and carrying painting materials, tools, and equipment.
