Job Description
The position is responsible for performing air duct cleaning (Following NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaning Assoc) standards and Dryer vent cleaning in homes and businesses.
The role:Provide air duct cleaning services to Clean and restore duct work and HVAC components
- Remove registers and grilles without damaging walls, floor, or ceilings. Prepare/seal the duct openings in preparation of duct cleaning. Clean the registers/grilles
- Assist in the set-up/tear-down of equipment.
- Assist in the cleaning of the air ducts.
- Assist in clean-up of work area, account for all tools and equipment.
- Daily cleaning of equipment used, assure equipment is in proper working order
- Clean and replace dryer vents
- Additional duties as assigned by the Lead Technician
The successful candidate will:
- Be Reliable and Punctual
- be customer focused, with an attention to detail, with solid customer service and communication skills.
- have reliable transportation
- not have significant asthma or breathing difficulties, (some jobs require wearing respirators)
- be able to lift and move equipment (=< 50 lb) as part of the routine job.
- be able to lift and move light to moderate furniture as part of the routine job.
- be able to climb stepladders and crawl into crawlspaces without assistance.
- have a positive attitude and be respectful to customers and supervisors
- pass a background record check.
- be Drug free
- experience is not necessary, but familiarity with common hand tools is helpful
- HVAC experience or mechanical aptitude is helpful, but not required
- Candidates local to Fallston (within 30 min or less drive) preferred
