Air & Electric Assembly Technician

We are looking for experienced candidates in Kent, Ohio, who are skilled in assembling and installing wiring and hydraulic components. If you enjoy working with your hands and have a background in electrical or hydraulic systems, this opportunity could be perfect for you.

In this role, you will assemble and install wiring and hydraulic systems in trailers, contributing to innovative and efficient vehicle designs. Hours
1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, overtime available on Fridays

Pay
$19.50 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Install wiring and hydraulics in trailers during production
  • Layout, align, and secure parts using tools like straightedges, calipers, and rulers
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to plan assembly
  • Position workpieces with hoists, cranes, and hand tools
  • Detect and report faulty equipment or materials
  • Mark and tag materials with job numbers and identifiers
  • Clean and degrease parts using wire brushes, grinders, or chemical baths
  • Repair products by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling parts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and installation
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints accurately
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, work in confined spaces, and at heights up to 15 feet
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production schedules
  • Must pass urine drug screen and background check

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with trailer manufacturing or similar production environments
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA standards

Preferred Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience with wiring and hydraulic systems in manufacturing
