Air Export Agent

Job Type: Full-Time (On-site) Location: Woodbury, NY Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.50 Hourly Range

Position Summary

Radiant Global Logistics, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Air Export Agent to join our International Operations team in Woodbury, NY. This role is responsible for coordinating international air export shipments from booking through final delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has at least two years of freight forwarding experience, strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned air export accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service.

• Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments, including booking, documentation, tracking, and final delivery. • Communicate shipment status and requirements clearly with customers, airlines, vendors, and internal teams. • Prepare, review, and audit export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and export regulations. • Process House Air Waybills (HAWBs), Mast Air Waybills (MAWBs), and related shipping documents. • Arrange pickups and deliveries in coordination with warehouses and transportation partners. • Enter and maintain shipment data using SAP TM and other company systems. • Provide rate quotes upon request and verify customer credit prior to shipment processing. • Generate accurate billing and invoices. • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve shipment issues; escalate when appropriate. • Support team members and participate in branch or department projects as needed.

Qualifications

Experience & Industry Knowledge

Minimum of 2 years of freight forwarding experience, with a focus on air export operations.

• Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping practices strongly preferred. • General understanding of airline operations and logistics processes.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).

• Experience with logistics systems such as SAP TM (preferred).

Organizational & Analytical Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills. • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously. • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to implement practical solutions.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST (8-hour workday with required meal and rest breaks).

• Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform required duties. • Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Office-based role in a climate-controlled environment with a moderate noise level.

• Regularly required to sit, walk, use hands and fingers for keyboarding, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.50 Hourly Range

• Starting pay is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Pay ranges may be modified in the future. Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for discretionary bonuses.
