How you create impact
As a Warehouse Associate - Shipping & Receiving, you will help ensure time-critical consignments and inventory move through the QuickSTAT warehouse safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will complete Goods In and Goods Out processes, prepare specialized temperature-controlled packaging solutions, and maintain the detailed documentation and quality standards required in a compliance-driven environment. In this role, you will:
- Process incoming consignments and inventory through the Goods In process, including documentation review, product inspection, piece counts, weights, dimensions, damage checks, and system updates
- Complete Goods Out processing for outbound shipments, ensuring documentation, shipment details, packaging, and required re-icing are accurate
- Select and prepare temperature-controlled packaging solutions, including PCM, liquid nitrogen, and dry ice, based on shipment requirements
- Select and prepare temperature loggers and GPS tracking devices from onsite inventory
- Perform and document quality checks on reusable temperature-controlled packaging
- Clean, restock, organize, and update reusable packaging inventory within the warehouse system
- Load and unload vehicles manually and with onsite forklift equipment
- Prepare consolidated consignments for transfer to other QuickSTAT facilities
- Enter key shipment milestones and maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
- Monitor the departmental mailbox for packaging bookings, shipment updates, and internal operational requests
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries from internal and external departments accurately and efficiently
- Identify and clearly communicate shipment discrepancies, inventory issues, and potential operational delays
- Maintain warehouse hygiene, organization, safety, and compliance standards
- Provide clear shift reports and handovers to ensure continuity between warehouse teams
What we would like you to bring
You are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment where accurate documentation and careful handling are essential. You can manage assigned responsibilities independently after training while communicating effectively and contributing to a collaborative team. To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, freight, transportation, or logistics
- Familiarity with Goods In and Goods Out, inbound receiving, outbound shipping, or similar warehouse processes
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete manual and electronic documentation accurately
- Experience working in a safety-focused, quality-controlled, or compliance-driven environment
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize assigned work, and meet strict deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort managing operational email communication
- Ability to work independently after training while supporting the broader warehouse team
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a consistent approach to completing assigned work
- Experience handling temperature-controlled, time-critical, life sciences, or specialized freight is preferred
- Familiarity with cold chain packaging solutions, GDP requirements, or courier and freight operations is a plus
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and warehouse or inventory systems
- Ability to work in a physically active, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and safely lift up to 49 pounds, with team-lift or equipment support available for heavier items
