The role - Hands-on Air & Ocean freight operations
Responsibilities
Manage air & ocean freight shipments A–Z from origin to final delivery.
Book cargo, coordinate pickups, prepare documentation, follow up with airlines, track, arrange delivery, and bill.
Work with airlines, truckers, customers, and internal offices on bookings, pickups, docs, and cargo recovery.
Monitor milestones, flag delays/exceptions early, and fix issues to hold service levels.
Keep documentation, system updates, costs, and final billing accurate.
Support air freight quotes by checking routing, transit times, capacity, and operational feasibility.
Handle priority and complex shipments with tight follow-up through the full lifecycle.
