Air Products Gas Cabinets Lead Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/ Cylinder Gas Lead for our Austin location.

Applicant must have direct experience with cylinder gases and Air Products gas cabinets.

Major Areas of Accountability:

Manage day-to-day operations and training of the cylinder gas teamInterface with customers for maintenance and repairsCoordinate orders and deliveries with suppliers and procurementMonitor cylinder gas inventory and prepare reports as neededOversee bulk gas delivery and offloadingConduct safety and quality inspections of all incoming cylinders and manage paperworkMonitor and maintain gas systemsPrepare weekly reportsPreparation of maintenance, SOPs, and work ordersWork within defined technical processes and proceduresInitiate and drive continuous improvementsAbility to work with Air Products gas cabinets

Shift: 1st Shift: 7 am - 4 pm, Mon-Fri

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 10 years of manufacturing or operations experience3-5 years of experience with cylinder gases and Air Products gas cabinets.Experience managing a cylinder gas team.Skills: mechanically inclined, ability to troubleshoot system equipment, good communication, attentive to detail, collaborative, organized, SOP and work instruction knowledge

Lifting 50 lbs.Bending and reachingClimbing laddersWalking throughout shift

Desired Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree in a related technical disciplineSkills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), ISO9000 knowledge
