Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous learning.
• Willingness to participate in job training and ongoing skills development programs.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing, foundry operations, casting, production, machine operation, material handling, or industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to learn the technical and chemical processes involved in Air-Set sand molding and aluminum casting production.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, overhead cranes, or semi-automated manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and reliability in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance when required.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or foundry environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to safely operate machinery, material handling equipment, and production tools while maintaining awareness of workplace hazards.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demands.

Job Duties

• Produce high-quality sand molds for aluminum castings using chemically treated sand, semi-automated molding equipment, and production tooling.
• Operate and maintain Air-Set molding line equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and consistent production.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain machinery, patterns, hand tools, and production equipment in proper working condition.
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, and material handling equipment to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area in accordance with company policies and quality standards.
• Follow all production procedures, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, complete required training, and perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
