Peraton is seeking an experienced Air Vehicle Systems Engineer to provide Naval Aviation expertise in a highly dynamic environment to support our NAVAIR customer at Patuxent Naval Air Station located in Lexington Park, MD. This leadership position supports the Air System Group and the assigned Program Management Office. Systems engineering skill set will apply to the air vehicle aeromechanics, structures, materials, and several subsystems. Airworthiness, acquisition, sustainment, and project management are products and services rendered. Professionalism and the ability to prioritize/organize high visibility efforts while being working with multiple technically diverse teams that are geographically dispersed. The candidate is expected to succinctly articulate complex technical challenges/mitigations/resolutions across the organization; often representing those technical commodities and program to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise mission.

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
