Requirements
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License
- Certified Airboat Operator
- Professional, dependable, and safety-minded
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of airboat maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Florida wildlife, including:
- Alligators
- Birds
- Native plants
- Local history and ecosystem
- Ability to provide an entertaining and educational narration during each tour
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial airboats
- Welcome guests and conduct a safety briefing
- Deliver a fun, informative, and memorable tour
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Keep boats clean and ready for operation
- Be available to work weekends and holidays when needed
