Position – Aircraft Avionics Technician
Location: Jacksonville, FL
We are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Avionics Technicians to support aircraft maintenance and avionics operations in a fast-paced MRO environment. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and testing aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Summary
The Aircraft Avionics Technician is responsible for performing avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, repair, and installation activities on aircraft electrical and avionics systems. This position ensures all work is completed in accordance with approved technical data, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, testing, repair, and installation of aircraft avionics and electrical systems
Diagnose avionics system discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions
Remove and install avionics components, equipment, wiring, and related systems
Perform electrical and avionics system operational and functional checks
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
Perform wire routing, termination, connector installation, pinning, and depinning as required
Use electrical test equipment to diagnose and verify aircraft system operation
Support aircraft maintenance, inspection, modification, and repair activities
Accurately complete maintenance documentation and work records
Ensure compliance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and quality standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Minimum 3+ years of aircraft avionics experience required
Aircraft electrical and avionics troubleshooting experience required
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation required
MRO or commercial aircraft maintenance experience preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems
Experience troubleshooting, testing, and repairing aircraft avionics systems
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documentation
Experience using multimeters and aircraft electrical test equipment
Experience with aircraft wiring, connectors, terminations, and electrical components
Ability to identify system discrepancies and perform corrective actions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to accurately complete maintenance documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Ability to work in a fast-paced MRO environment
Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as required
Ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, and work in confined aircraft spaces
