The primary purpose of this position is to analyze malfunctions troubleshoot repair install maintain test inspect and modify the electrical environmental systems and other systems on andor off-aircraft.
This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties.

Conditions of employment KEY REQUIREMENTS
Open to current or prior service active duty reserve or national guard members of one of the branches of the US Air Force Army Navy or Marines.
Military members Submit vMPF Rip DVR STP ERS MBS or PDR with resume.
Prior service members Submit a DD Form 214.
Must become a military member of the Wyoming Air Natl Guard before appt.

Recruitment Relocation Incentive MAY BE authorized if eligible. Subject to funding and TAG approval. PCS costs are not authorized. Must be willing to relocate at own expense if selected.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS & NOTES
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit Electronic Funds Transfer DDEFT.
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment retention and student loan repayment bonuses. Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives. If you have questions regarding these bonuses incentives contact 307 772-6333 for assistance.
Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program SRIP and TRICARE Reserve Select TRS.

Qualifications AREAS OF CONSIDERATION
The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows
Area 1 Permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard NG WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 MXS.
Area 2 Permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard ANG T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 4 Current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 6 Current and prior military service members separated from any branch of the military to include US Air Force US Army US Navy US Marine Corps Reserves and National Guard components. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

MILITARY GRADE Min E4 SrA Max E5 SSgt
Enlisted applicants military grade cannot exceed the maximum military grade authorized. Over-grade applicants must provide a written demotion statement of understanding with application willingness to be administratively reduced in grade E5 SSgt if selected for this position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must possess experience or training in locating and tying in the electrical systems with the aircraft armament electronics and instrument systems adjusting and calibrating the components of the various electrical systems reading and interpreting blueprints wiring diagrams and schematics.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must possess experience or training installing maintaining repairing and modifying electrical systems and major substation components of electrical systems. Experience diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exist among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems. Experience making electrical repairs that require the use of precision measuring equipment and common hand tools. Experience in the setup and operation of computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment in manual semiautomatic or automatic mode to run existing and new not fully debugged diagnostic programs to test and analyze aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of systems such as navigational computers radar and related equipment and to repair discrepancies.
NOTE Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES KSAs Technical Competence
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC 2A6X6 AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS.
Enlisted 2A6X6 ASVAB Requirements Must possess a minimum score of 41 on the Mechanical AND 61 on the Electrical portion of the ASVAB. Medical Profile PULHES must not be greater than 333132. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. unassisted.
DRIVERS LICENSE Must possess a valid states drivers license.
