General Description Support daily repair and manufacturing operations for incoming workload for C-5, C-17, C-130, F-15, J-STARS, RQ-4, Global Hawk and other workload as required. Duties - Troubleshoot, modify calibrate and repair of complex aircraft electrical systems and equipment such as electrical power control and distribution systems, lighting systems, refueling and fuel quantity indicating systems, etc. - Perform final functional and operational testing of these systems. - Replace defective controls units, relay boards, servo units, or other components - Set up and operate computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment to test and analyze circuitry and interconnected cabling of systems - Interpret and apply a variety of technical information such as technical orders, repair manuals, schematics, etc concerning wire codes, wiring configuration and testing procedures. - Set-up and operate computer controlled automated test equipment (ATE) - Other duties as assigned Education/Experience Requirements - We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing. - High School Diploma or equivalent - Must have at least two years of recent verifiable experience - Knowledge of operating electrical principles - Knowledge of interface of electrical systems with hydraulic, electronic armament, instrument, and mechanical systems - Experience using hand and electrical test units, meters, oscilloscopes, etc. - Experience in reading schematics and wiring diagrams - Must be a US Citizen - Must be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government facilities. - Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within nine (9) months of employee's start date. - This position falls under Executive Order 14042, and may require fully vaccinated status. - We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
