An established aviation MRO organization is seeking a T56 Engine Mechanic to support the assembly, disassembly, repair, and overhaul of turbine engines and related components. This position is responsible for performing hands-on maintenance, repairs, inspections, and overhaul activities on aircraft engines and subassemblies in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working on aviation engines within an MRO, aerospace, military, or aviation maintenance environment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and overhaul of turbine engine components and subassemblies
* Execute maintenance and repair procedures in accordance with approved manuals and work instructions
* Perform engine build-up, module assembly, and component installation activities
* Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance data
* Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and component condition
* Perform engine rigging, servicing, and configuration checks
* Complete required maintenance documentation accurately and thoroughly
* Verify work scope compliance and maintain quality and safety standards throughout the repair process
* Support engine testing and post-maintenance activities as required
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of aviation engine maintenance, overhaul, or repair experience
* Hands-on maintenance experience working directly on aircraft engines or engine components
* Ability to use precision measuring equipment and standard aircraft maintenance tools
* Experience reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical instructions
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
* Must possess a personal toolbox with standard mechanic tools
* Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed
