The Role

The Aircraft Line Service Technician is responsible for providing exceptional ground support services for general aviation aircraft, flight crews, and passengers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.

The Aircraft Line Service Technician serves as a key member of the Fixed Base Operations (FBO) team by ensuring aircraft are serviced, maintained, and prepared for safe operations while delivering a first-class experience for customers and crew.

What You'll Do

Aircraft Ground Handling

  • Marshal, park, tow, reposition, and secure aircraft on the ramp.
  • Assist with wing-walking duties during aircraft movements.
  • Safely conduct all flight line operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and organized ramp environment.

Aircraft Servicing & Maintenance

  • Clean aircraft interiors and exteriors to company standards.
  • Restock aircraft cabins with designated supplies.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including checking tires and servicing oil and hydraulic fluid.
  • Provide lavatory and potable water services as requested.
  • Fuel and de-ice aircraft in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities as assigned.

Passenger & Crew Support

  • Greet customers, crew members, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist passengers and crew with baggage and cargo handling.
  • Provide shuttle transportation for passengers and crew as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily flight operations.

Safety & Operational Support

  • Follow all operational, safety, and customer service procedures.
  • Report to work as scheduled and maintain schedule flexibility.
  • Complete additional operational duties as assigned to support the FBO and flight operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Three to six months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required company training programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to frequently walk, bend, stretch, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to aircraft noise, jet fumes, and other environmental conditions.
  • Excellent coordination and situational awareness when working around aircraft.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in Fixed Base Operations (FBO), aviation ground handling, or aircraft servicing.
  • Experience fueling, towing, or marshaling aircraft.
  • Knowledge of general aviation safety procedures and ramp operations.
  • Customer service experience in an aviation or hospitality environment.

Schedule:

  • 8 - 10 hour shifts depending on coverage for trips, flexible schedule
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
