Job Summary:
Our client, a premier flight school committed to excellence in flight training and maintenance, is seeking a skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in Des Moines, IA. Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on piston-powered flight training aircraft.
- Comply with safety protocols and quality standards in a fast-paced aviation setting.
- Utilize computerized logbook systems and adhere to maintenance manuals for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Hold an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with maintaining piston-powered aircraft.
- FAA Inspection Authorization a plus.
