Overview Nickerson Talent Solutions is searching for Helicopter Mechanics/Technicians for a Contract to Direct Hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. Pay rate: $36.00-$45.00 per hour (depending on experience). 3-6 Month Contract to Direct Hire. No Tools Required. Overtime: Time and a Half.Base pay range$36.00/hr - $45.00/hrResponsibilities 6 Openings Available for Helicopter MechanicPerform helicopter maintenance on models such as Airbus, Agusta, Bell, MD, or SikorskyRead and interpret aviation maintenance manuals; use test equipment for tracking and balance; perform rotor tracking and balancing adjustmentsInterpret Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for helicopter applicabilityInterpret schematics/blueprints, read measuring instruments (dial calipers, micrometers, borescopes, etc.), and troubleshoot engine parameters (oil pressure, Ng, temperature)Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabricate/assemble partsSet up and operate fabricating machines to cut, form, and finish sheet metal and other componentsInstall and test avionics and electrical systems; ensure proper operation before return to serviceWork with navigation/communication systems, autopilot, GPS, RVSM, hydraulics, and flight controls as applicableQualifications High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of helicopter mechanic experience (preferred)Working knowledge of blueprint reading, geometry, and trigonometryAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipmentFamiliarity with aviation maintenance manualsExperience with test equipment and diagnostics related to rotor systems and avionicsReading and interpreting Airworthiness Directives and related service informationEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledSenioriry level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Manufacturing, Production, and Product ManagementIndustries Aviation and Aerospace Component ManufacturingAirlines and AviationDefense and Space ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Nickerson Talent Solutions by 2x#J-18808-Ljbffr
