Position OverviewThe Aircraft Mechanic III supports Organizational (O-Level) and Intermediate (I-Level) maintenance and logistics operations for the Department of the Navy C-130 and KC-130 aircraft fleet at NAS JRB Fort Worth. This position provides hands-on technical expertise and team leadership during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions, including Isochronal (ISO) inspections (1080 days and below), 700-hour engine inspections, Technical Directive (TD) compliance, and high-time component replacements.Aircraft Mechanic III personnel lead and supervise maintenance teams during aircraft induction, look-and-fix execution, and return-to-service operations while ensuring strict compliance with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) requirements, approved work decks, and contract PWS directives.
