Join our client's team as an Aircraft Mechanic in Kansas City, a leading aircraft component service operation. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by servicing, repairing, and overhauling components with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize intermediate knowledge to perform routine maintenance work on specialized aircraft components.
- Develop repair schemes and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel.
- Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and specifications to determine repair methods.
- Conduct operational tests and maintain a clean work area.
- Perform specific tasks based on assigned area such as flight control, systems, sheet metal/structures, or airframe cabin interiors.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and report any incidents promptly.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Airframe and/or Power plant License preferred.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program in a related field or two years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in relevant specialty of aircraft maintenance.
- Must meet all regulatory requirements per FAR 65.
Additional Information:- This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.
