M1 Support Services, LP – 1500 Solana Blvd Suite 5200, Westlake, TX 76262Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic T-6 Flightline (26-031)Location: Columbus, MSStart Date: TBDSalary: $43.76/hourShift: Full-time (day, night, weekend)Union: YesFLSA Status: Non-ExemptTravel: PossibleRelocation: PossibleJob SummaryM1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic T-6 Flightline to maintain and repair assigned aircraft, coordinate maintenance activities, and support flight operations.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repair of assigned aircraftCoordinate maintenance activities with senior section personnelAccomplish inspections including preflight, thru flight, and BPOService aircraft as required for flightLaunch and recover aircraft as requiredUse schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications for operating, testing, and removing componentsRemove, inspect, and reinstall aircraft components such as flight control surfaces, throttle components, landing gear components, gear‑box assemblies, brake assemblies, and aircraft enginesRig flight controls, canopies, throttles, and landing gearPerform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operational checks of all aircraft systemsPractice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all timesPerform aircraft conditional inspections as requiredOperate ground support equipment and use hand tools, special tools, and fixtures for the assigned aircraftPerform all required aircraft servicing tasksPerform all tasks associated with ground movement of aircraftAnnotate maintenance actions in aircraft records and be proficient in CAMS documentationMay be required to acquire and maintain engine run certificationMay be required to be Red X certifiedMay be required to be qualified on different MDS aircraftPromote company values, policies, and standards of conductMaintain customer orientation and coordinate professionally with Operations and other base agenciesAssist other personnel and work centers as directedPerform other duties as assigned, including TDY and travelReceive cross‑utilization training and be qualified to perform those maintenance tasksWork day shift, night shift, or weekend duty as requiredQualifications and ExperienceWorking knowledge of jet aircraft systems and use of common hand tools and special toolsKnowledge of aircraft maintenance safety requirements and ability to operate portable fire‑fighting equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalentProficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding EnglishAbility to read and comprehend technical dataMinimum 12 months experience as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent in an aircraft maintenance positionCompletion of a military or civilian aviation maintenance school and possession of a diploma or certificate of completionIn lieu of formal training, minimum 18 months of experience in aviation maintenance as an aircraft worker or servicer with 6 months of BPO experience or certification; completion of Air Force 3 Level CDC Aircraft Mechanic Course or equivalent is desiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver's license and may be required to obtain and maintain a class CDLWorking ConditionsPhysical exertion requirement: medium.BenefitsM1 offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and dependent life, AD&D, short‑ and long‑term disability, flexible spending accounts, and a free Employee Assistance Program.M1 is an equal‑opportunity employer.
