Position – Aircraft Paint Supervisor
Location: Mesa, AZ
We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Paint Supervisor to lead a small aircraft paint team in Mesa, AZ.
The Aircraft Paint Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day production activities for complete aircraft strip and paint projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safe operations, and efficient workflow. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who can effectively manage and support the team while maintaining production standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day aircraft paint operations and maintain workflow according to production schedules
- Lead and oversee painters and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Support complete aircraft strip and paint projects
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and aircraft painting best practices
- Follow and implement established Standard Operating Procedures for aircraft painting processes
- Coordinate with other departments to support project deadlines and customer requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate paint and supply requirements
- Conduct quality inspections of completed paint work
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the painting process
- Maintain high standards for paint quality, appearance, and workmanship
- Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience and Certification
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of senior-level aircraft paint and layout experience preferred
- Previous aircraft paint leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong aircraft paint mixing and application experience required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

- Strong knowledge of aircraft painting, preparation, stripping, and layout processes
- Proficiency with paint mixing and aircraft painting equipment

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The employee will work in aircraft paint, hangar, and production environments and must follow all applicable safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
The employee may be required to stand for prolonged periods and frequently bend, reach, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and possess the manual dexterity required to operate aircraft painting equipment and tools.
