Job Description
Aircraft Painter
- Applications of safety absorbent to hangar floor and spray aircraft with stripper for paint removal
- Minimum 5 years of paint experience. Must have experience with preparation and painting full body aircraft or equivalent (preferred)
- Unmask, mask, and re-mask areas of aircraft surface to ensure protection of windows etc.
- Remove stripper, excess paint, and/or contaminants using various methods
- Application of treatments as well as paint to aircraft surfaces
- Sand, grind, and buff polished areas of aircraft surface
- Alodine to aircraft surface using spray equipment
- Perform touch-up work as required
