West Metro Aviation is seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing team in Buffalo, Minnesota. Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including annuals, 100-hour inspections, and system diagnostics
- Ensure all work meets West Metro Aviation’s “air show-level” quality standards, with exceptional attention to detail
- Accurately document maintenance activities in compliance with FAA requirements
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
