In Shelby Township, MI, our team fabricates and assembles aerospace components that demand absolute accuracy. As an Aircraft Structures Fitter–Welder, you’ll shape parts from blueprint to finished assembly, applying expert MIG, TIG, and stick processes on aluminum and stainless steel. Your craftsmanship, quality checks, and collaborative problem-solving ensure every component meets stringent aerospace specifications. Along the way, you’ll invest in your growth with continual training in advanced welding techniques.

- Blueprint-driven fabrication: read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan layouts and assemblies.
- Precision welding: fit and weld aerospace components in aluminum and stainless steel.
- Process mastery: execute MIG, TIG, and stick welds for reliable, durable joints.
- Quality assurance: inspect against specs and refine work as needed.
- Team alignment: partner with engineers and colleagues to resolve fabrication issues.
- Safety and order: keep a clean, compliant, and organized work area.
- Continuous improvement: participate in training focused on aerospace welding.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding/fabrication certification preferred.
- Demonstrated fitter/welder experience; aerospace exposure preferred.
- Strong command of welding methods and aerospace-relevant materials.
- Fluent in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Independent contributor who thrives in team settings.
