Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Assembles, installs, seals, rigs, and inspects precision structural and system components using drawings, process specifications, and quality control requirements.
Functional tests and corrects fit, form, and function of assemblies and components.
Obtains required information from prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, and verbal or electronic data.
Uses shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments to complete work assignments and functional tests.
Utilizes tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items.
Verifies work per work instructions and engineering specifications and identifies discrepancies.
Performs routine minor machine maintenance including filter replacement, bulb changes, and lubrication or coolant level maintenance.
Sets up and operates conventional and CNC fastening equipment of less than simultaneous 3-axis movement (e.g., drivematic processes).
Performs one or more specialties: Assembly/Installation of Structures, Sealer, or Sub Assembly.
Performs one or more specialty skills: Assembly/Installation Doors, Integral Fuel Cell Sealing, Precision Bench Assembly, or Pressure and Vacuum testing.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
5-10 years of experience in structural assembly and repair (Mid-Level).
Experience assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, and inspecting structural and system components on aircraft.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, and work instructions.
Experience using shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments for functional testing.
Experience setting up and operating conventional and CNC fastening equipment.
Skill in Assembly/Installation of Structures, Sealer, or Sub Assembly.
Skill in one of: Assembly/Installation Doors, Integral Fuel Cell Sealing, Precision Bench Assembly, or Pressure and Vacuum testing.
Experience with 737 Lower Lobe sub-assembly operations.
Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and working on or off the ground.
