Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Performs complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.

  • Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.

  • Communicates as required to receive and understand work assignments.

  • Coordinates with MTL, STM, and Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.

  • Properly completes CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Ensures that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.

  • Properly identifies customer property and equipment and stores aircraft components and other customer property securely.

  • Follows standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment including external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, and compressed gas cylinders.

  • Coordinates and accomplishes aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

  • Provides training to less experienced technicians.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience to include 2 years of experience working on mid or large size aircraft.

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications.

  • Ability to operate ground support equipment including external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, and compressed gas cylinders.

  • Ability to properly complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and paperwork.

  • Ability to coordinate aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
