Position Type:7 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Shift: 1st Shift or 2nd Shift

Compensation: $82.81/HR
Position Summary
The Airframe Mechanic will perform a variety of tasks related to the delivery, installation, maintenance, and support of aircraft engines and associated systems for commercial aircraft operations in Everett, Washington. This position supports aircraft engine installation, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
• Remove and install Line Replacement Units (LRUs) and engine components.
• Perform engine removal and installation activities.
• Complete repair work and incorporate approved modifications.
• Inspect and evaluate engine components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engine and aircraft system malfunctions.
• Collect, document, and report engine-related information.
• Utilize basic computer systems for documentation and reporting.
• Support maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Participate in on-call support as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift, hold, and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Schedule
• On-site position located in Everett, Washington.
• First and second shift opportunities available.
• Typical second shift hours are approximately 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
• Schedule flexibility may be available based on business needs.
• Candidates must be willing to work any shift, including days, afternoons, nights, or rotating schedules as required.
• On-call support may be required on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of aircraft mechanic experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree.
• Jet engine maintenance experience.
• Experience working within the aviation or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with large commercial aircraft engines.
Additional Information
• Virtual interviews will be conducted with the hiring team.
• Candidates with strong aircraft maintenance experience and A&P certification are highly preferred.
• Additional engine experience is considered a plus.
