The purpose of the Airmax Senior Accountant is to run the day-to-day accounting.  The responsibility includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and general ledger management. The goal of the Senior Accountant is to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in support of the Regional Controller.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the accounting department to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, revenue, and asset management.
  2. Perform and review monthly close responsibilities.
  3. Ensure each month is closed within 5 business days after the end of each month unless extended by the Regional Controller.
  4. Meets accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to plans and reviews, resolving problems, and identifying system improvements.
  5. Participate in management meetings when requested.
  6. Prepares weekly cash forecast report to review with Regional Controller
  7. Approves cash disbursements (After the Regional Controller approves the bill pay list) by verifying check/ACH/Wire amounts against invoices.
  8. Work with General Manager to ensure that department expenses are within budget.
  9. Supports annual audit(s) by providing information and answers to auditors and the Regional Controller.
  10. Account for all intercompany transactions and ensure reconciliations with all Corporate and regional companies.
  11. Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls.
  12. Performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  13. Build cooperative working relationships and be a business partner to Anderson staff.
  14. Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  15. Report to Regional Controller.
  16. Assist with annual budget.
  17. Coordinate monthly inventory cycle counts

Education and Experience requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
  3. Experience with financial reporting requirements
  4. Experience with Sage-Intacct, ServiceTitan and Ramp a plus
