Description

Our client is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. They serve prominent clients such as Boeing, the US Army, and various aviation sectors. 

This position is responsible for preparing small parts of airplanes for painting and coating, and assisting the operator as needed. 

Responsibilities

  • Clean and wrap parts of the airplane before painting
  • Ability to perform basic math operations and apply them in the work environment
  • Remove parts from the rack or bar after processing
  • Complete paperwork as required by the company and processing guidelines
  • Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash or wires
  • Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly

Skills 

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) 
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
  • Production or manufacturing experience is a plus
