The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority's (RTAA) mission is to maintain and grow aviation services and facilities, as part of the global air transportation system, to transport people and goods to benefit the region while being financially self-sustaining. Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is an important asset to the region, generating a total annual economic impact of $2 billion. It takes the dedication and service of these employees working together to make that all important first and last impression on travelers to and from the region. In 2017, RNO served over 4 million enplaned passengers, an increase of 10% versus 2016. Passengers reflect an approximate 50/50 mix of both business and leisure travelers equally distributed between the two concourses.
