    Job Description

    Join Our Airport Operations Team
    OHM Concession Group is hiring dependable Airport Restaurant Porters to support our restaurants and retail locations inside Kansas City International Airport.
     
    This is an active, hands-on position that keeps our airport operations running. You will receive products, organize storage areas, deliver food and supplies to our locations throughout the terminal, remove trash and recycling, and help maintain clean and safe work areas.
    This is not an airline baggage-handling position. Our porters support the restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and markets operated by OHM inside the airport.       
     
    What You’ll Do
    • Receive food, beverages, paper products, and operating supplies.
    • Check incoming deliveries for accuracy and visible damage.
    • Organize products in warehouse, cooler, freezer, and storage areas.
    • Deliver products to OHM restaurants and retail locations throughout the airport.
    • Rotate products and help maintain proper inventory organization.
    • Break down boxes and remove trash, recycling, and other waste.
    • Keep loading, storage, receiving, and service areas clean and orderly.
    • Safely operate carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
    • Follow food-safety, workplace-safety, and airport-security procedures.
    • Communicate shortages, damaged products, or safety concerns to management.
    • Assist other members of the operations team when needed.
    What We’re Looking For
    • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to stay active throughout the shift.
    • Ability to follow directions and complete assigned work on time.
    • Prior warehouse, stocking, delivery, restaurant, janitorial, or utility experience is helpful but not required.
    • Availability for [early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays—select what applies].
    • Ability to meet airport security and badging requirements.
    Physical Requirements
    This is a physically active position. Team members must be able to:
    • Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull.
    • Regularly lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Push loaded carts through the airport terminal.
    • Work in coolers, freezers, loading areas, and other changing temperatures.
    • Remain active for most of an eight-hour shift.

    Airport Employment Requirements
    Because this position works inside Kansas City International Airport, selected candidates must complete the airport badging process. This may include identity verification, employment-history review, fingerprinting, and other required security checks.
