Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in an insurance environment is required. Completion of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.

The Airport Risk Management Insurance Representative is a fundamental position that will maintain a comprehensive listing of the Miami Dade Aviation Department properties to be insured and appraised. Responsibilities of this position will include the intake and processing of MDAD property, incident and accident claims recovery. Additionally, the incumbent of this position will process and review construction payment and performance bonds. Moreover, duties of this position will entail the maintenance and performing updates of the Schedule of Values and the review and process of vendor certificates of insurance. Furthermore, the incumbent of this position will assist with the processing and filing of FEMA claim documents for cost recovery.
Airport Security
Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
