Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or public agencies when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or responding authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
