As an AirportSecurity Officer: Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and direction from appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
