Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the Airport Operations and Security Manager, acts as the designated Airport Security Coordinator, provides day-to-day management of security related activities, manages the airport badging office, and ensures compliance of the Airport Security Program for the Des Moines Airport Authority. Responsible for overall management of the badging office, security compliance, Part 77, TSR Parts 1500, 1520, 1540, 1542, 1544, Airport Security Program, Authority Rules and Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local statutes regulations and requirements. Develops, implements, and monitors all security related training programs. Manages airport identification management system, video surveillance system, access control system, and physical key system. Manages employee screening program and associated contractors. Operates various computer software applications and performs related work as required. Performs other job related duties as required.
