Minimum Qualifications
Eighth grade. One year of experience as a skilled sign painter to include experience with computerized sign making and silk screen procedures is required. Must possess a Driver license. Job requires working at heights. Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal, state, or local requirements. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.

This is professional and technical architectural work in the fabrication of Airport signage using computerized sign making equipment and procedures. Work entails design layout, printing and fabricating interior and exterior grade directional and identification signage for all airport operations and its facilities, which include all 5 Miami-Dade County operated airport facilities and surrounding roads where the Miami Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) has jurisdiction.
